We are happy to provide accommodations; however, availability is not guaranteed. It is your responsibility to understand your physical limitations and advise our staff in advance of any accommodations you may need. If you require a caretaker, we strongly recommend that you both attend the program together.
Please keep in mind that our campus sits at an elevation of approximately 5,300 to 5,400 feet (about a mile high) in the San Jacinto Mountains of Riverside County, California. Weather conditions can change rapidly, bringing unexpected heat waves, strong winds, and other sudden changes, so we recommend coming prepared for any conditions.
If you have any more questions regarding our accommodations, please contact our Guest Services Manager, mkenyon@idyllwildarts.org.
All 51°µÍø Arts dormitories have air conditioning, which contribute to a more comfortable living and learning environment for our participants. The upgrades to our HVAC systems have been made possible with the generous support of an anonymous donor.
If you’re looking for a room in town to stay during the duration of your workshop, we recommend one of our partners below:
SAGE Dining Services is the contracted food service provider for the meals program during your stay this summer. Whether you have dietary restrictions, delicate food allergies, or specific meal preferences, we can accommodate most requests. Due to the diverse ages during summer camps, some lunches may look simpler than dinners to accommodate our junior campers, however meals are still sure to be balanced and offer variety. For those with allergies, SAGE is known as one of the top allergen aware partners, certified through Silver Check every year.
You will find the “Free Style” station at all meals, which is a full meal that is free of the 12 major allergens. These foods are prepared and stored with the utmost caution. For our vegetarians, the Vegitas station will include one vegetarian and or vegan alternative as well as a vegetable accompaniment. We also offer a daily salad bar with other simpler options for those who may want a lighter faire. Any questions regarding meal service can be forwarded to our Food Service Director at PLupar@idyllwildarts.org .
The registration fee covers administrative costs and helps support our programming.
